A HAUNTED WEEKEND IN VICTORIA

A HAUNTED WEEKEND IN VICTORIA

Clipper Vacations is offering an opportunity for an October visit to Canada's most haunted city, Victoria, B.C. The cemeteries and narrow alleys are overflowing with eerie and mesmerizing stories of ghosts and paranormal encounters and this is the perfect opportunity for a unique, seasonal experience with the whole family.

The "Haunted Victoria" overnight package is available for the nights of October 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31st and includes: round trip from Seattle on the Victoria Clipper, one night's accommodation at the reportedly haunted, 100 year old James Bay Inn, a 2 hour motor coach and walking "Ghost Tour" and all taxes. The cost is $146 pp/dbl occupancy.

The Fairmont Empress and many other hotel options and extra nights are available. The Chateau Victoria and Executive House are available for another $10 pp and the Inn at Laurel Point or Hotel Grand Pacific for an additional $20 pp. Children under 12 travel and stay free, but the ghost tour is $18 per child (under 5 no charge).

Clipper is also still offering the Combo City Tour and Butchart Gardens Tour. If you have not been to the gardens in Autumn, you will be amazed at the colors of the trees, the huge Dahlia garden and the many Mums, Asters and other unique fall flowering plants. Additionally, the Inner Harbour gardens of the Empress, Legislative Buildings and surrounding area are still alive with red, yellow and orange foliage and flowers.
