Bandon Oregon...Is Waiting For You

Bandon Oregon is nearly your last stop, heading south, before entering the State of California. This little artistic town with its established harbor, is a prime area to just lay back and relax. The major industry in the area is cranberry products and cheese. You can see all of the cranberry farms or bogs just on the outskirts of town.

If you're one who enjoys the challenge and relaxation a golf course brings, then the Bandon Dunes is for you. Here you'll trail your golf ball along the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline. It's magnificent and reminds one of the infamous golf course in Scotland.

If you're not into golfing, that's "OK", there's plenty of beach space here in Bandon Oregon. You can simply stroll in the beauty and look for the semiprecious stones scattered along the beaches. You'll find numerous sizes and shapes of agates, jasper and other popular rocks waiting for you.

Nearby you'll want to take in the towns Light House, the Coquille River Lighthouse, commonly referred to as the Bandon Lighthouse. Head over to Bullards Beach State Park, or ask some of the local townspeople. It's hard to get lost in this little quaint town.
