What's Next?

Do you have Kids that you camp with OR kids that you plan on camping with? We have 4 Camping Kids, they love to camp!

We are fortunate to have traveled extensively; therefore, allowing us to camp at a variety of locations throughout the world.

Affordable Kids Camping Equipment...We've found one of the best places to get kids camping equipment and adult camping equipment is at The Sports Authority. They have over 200 stores and a good selection with competitive prices. The main essence in camping equipment is quality, it does pay to invest a few more dollars and you'll get years out of the equipment. Wal-Mart is another great option for affordable camping equipment. Our camping kids love to shop for the equipment, it ads to the family adhesive.

As areas within the world increase in intensity, my wife and I made the decision a few years ago to invest in a Private Campground Association. We made that decision based on: the private campground provided a higher level of security for our Kids, lot's of amenities at the campgrounds, we always have a place to camp and the locations are superb.

As a result we camp a lot with our Kids, they love it, we love it and it brings the family together. I personally enjoy "roughing it" so we use the Private Campground as a base camp and I can make my more difficult trips from there; i.e., back packing trips, kayak trips. I must a admit it's always nice to come back to the comforts of a base camp.

Camping brings the family together...

We use our camping almost like therapy. We cut ourselves off from the rigors of life: homework assignments, kids friends coming over, cleaning house, paying bills, yard work and the list goes on and on. Can you relate? We use the time together and don't set a strict agenda. We remain flexible with our Camping Kids.
