The Cascade Loop is one of Washington State's most scenic and popular routes. It's perfect for that "Sunday Drive", and then some. For the first-time visitor to the Northwest, this scenic drive is a must!

The Loop literally encompasses the heart-land of Washington State, from the pristine waters of Puget Sound, the snow capped peaks of the Cascade Mountains to the high desert of the Columbia River Valley.

You can easily remain in your car and capture the many scenic opportunities or you can venture off into one of the Parks, quaint towns, and/or take in the views at the scenic rest opportunities. It's all here waiting for you.

The Loop is simply a self-guided tour, some 400-miles, beginning in Everett (Everett is located north of Seattle), and ending in Everett. We've found the most comprehensive resource for detailed information is from the Cascade Loop Association.

Rather than get into great details, you can get this kind of information from the Association, we'll highlight a fabulous opportunity while you make your way around the Loop. Take some time and stop at Lake Chelan. It's a must to board The Lady of The Lake and participate in a relaxing, breath-taking delight as you make passage up lake to the little village of Stehekin.

The Lake Chelan Boat Company offers excursions up the lake daily in the summer from Chelan. During the winter months the trip is made several times during the week.
