Clipper's Tulip Festival Tours

by Clipper Vacations
(Seattle)

CLIPPER'S TULIP FESTIVAL TOURS SCHEDULED TO ENJOY PEAK BLOOMING DATES

Seattle, WA - Clipper Vacations' annual Tulip Tours will be operating on April 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17. Although peak blooming dates vary each year depending upon winter and spring temperatures, it appears that mid April will be the peak for 2011.

During most of April each year, the fields are alive with acres and acres of red, yellow, purple and pink tulips; spectacular from a distance, and up close. Flower enthusiasts who book this event will travel between Seattle's Pier 69 and La Conner via Victoria Clipper III or deluxe motor coach. Fully escorted, everyone will enjoy a 2.5 hour narrated tour of the Tulip Fields with stops at two bulb farms, plenty of free time in the quaint Town of La Conner for shopping and/or lunch and a return to Seattle around dinner time.

On Fridays and Sundays, travel will be round trip via deluxe motor coach. On Saturdays, travel will be one way via motor coach and one way via Victoria Clipper cruise, docking in downtown La Conner next to the Calico Cupboard. All are fully escorted.

Rates start at only $41 per adult if you book 7 days in advance, and the price for children ages 11 and under start at $27.

Clipper has been an official sponsor of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival since 1991. During that time, thousands of people have enjoyed taking Clipper Vacations' one day guided "Tiptoe through the Tulips" tours to La Conner.
