Drive Oregon Scenic Routes...here are the best.

Gold Beach to Brookings: This is definately the best drive of all of Hwy 101 along the Oregon Coast. This section of highway has it all; from awesome view points and sandy beaches. The coastline along this section is remote offering a greater abundance of natural elements that you can observe. Of course, the entire Oregon Coast is spectular but given the choice to drive oregon scenic routes, be sure this is on your list.

Crater Lake National Park: Take a break from the amazing Oregon Coast and go inland a bit to Crater Lake. This 33-mile loop circling the the rim of the massive crater lets you see the geologic history unfold as you view the many breathtaking vantage points. 7,700 years has past since the volcanic erruption occurred, leaving behind a massive lake and enormous rock outcrops. Fabulous to view. Take the time and stop at various vantage points.

Columbia River Scenic Highway: Wow! You want to see panoramic views? You need to drive oregon scenic routes wonderland. The scenic drive begins 16-miles east of Portland, the second Troutdale exit off I-84. You'll pass numerous picturesque waterfalls. Multnomah Falls, the largest and most famous waterfall along the scenic drive, is Oregon's most visited natural attraction. It's 620 feet, making it the tallest falls in Oregon and fourth in the state.

Cascade Lakes Tour: Or sometimes referred to as Century Drive, is another must see in Oregon. You'll drive Oregon scenic route, Cascade Lakes Tour, approximately 100 miles passing lakes, forests and lava beds...very spectular! The drive begins in Bend. Follow Colorado Street to Century Drive. Contact the Chamber in Bend, they can give you some good information.

Three Capes Loop: This is a beautiful scenic oceanfront drive out of Tillamook. Take 3rd Street exit off of Hwy 101 towards the west. Follow Netarts Hwy to Bayocean Road to Cape Meares Loop Road. Continue to Netarts Bay Drive and south along Whiskey Creek Road to Cape Lookout Road. Head south on Sand Lake Road to Cape Drive then east to Pacific City and back to Hwy 101.
