Free Vacation
in the Great Outdoors

Volunteer for a Free Vacation...

It doesn't matter how young or old you are, reasonably speaking of course, you can get yourself a free vacation and enjoy a wilderness experience in a national park.

There's a variety of government agencies like the US Forest Service, National Park Service, the Army Corps and various state parks across the U.S. that welcome volunteers. You serve as campground hosts in exchange for a free stay. Thousands of people across the U.S. take advantage of this fabulous free vacation program. You can stay anywhere from a day to a full year.

Also, as a host you could participate in other activities like: researchers, ranger assistants, trail repair, plumbers, carpenters and the list goes on and on. If you have a special skill, and everyone does, all the better.

In exchange for your service you may receive free camping, other recreational privileges like: accommodations in a cabin at no-cost. In some cases you'll receive an expense allowance; however, most of the time you are expected to cover your food and transporation.

If you like the Great Outdoors contact any park, forest, refuge, fish hatchery or other governmental agency that may be of interest to you. You can start here:
