CELEBRATE OKTOBERFEST IN LEAVENWORTH ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 9th
Beer, Bratwurst and Polka enthusiasts will enjoy a day trip to Leavenworth's Annual Oktoberfest. Join Clipper Vacations for a memorable day in "Bavaria". The tour escort will point out various natural landmarks along the way, while the fall foliage will provide a breathtaking trip through the mountain passes. Also en route, a continental breakfast basket will be provided, and passengers can bring their own snacks. The motorcoaches will leave from Seattle or Bellevue, and travel to Leavenworth, WA arriving in plenty of time for the opening ceremonies and all of the festivities. The annual Oktoberfest Parade, at noon, features many performers; traditional Schuhplattler and folk dances, horses and wagons, the official Leavenworth Bierwagen and many members of the Projekt Bayern, as well as local residents dressed in traditional clothing. There is also a Biergarten and Festhalle with food, beverages and entertainment. Additionally, there will be plenty of time for independent shopping and lunch. Admission to the Biergarten and Festhalle is included with the motorcoach tour ticket. Tickets are $77 USD per person.
