The summer months are by far the busiest months of the year all along the Oregon Coast. Most people want to "take in" the warm summer days. That said, you'll also pay more for your Oregon Coast Vacation. Hotel prices increase and you'll experience crowds of people at designated tourist localities. If you're on a budget you can take advantage of the camping; however, reservations are required at most camping locations and you must plan well in advance. If you're an RV'er you can expect full RV Parks. If you're fortunate to have a "Private Campground Association" membership then as an RV'er or camper, you can really make the most of your vacation along the Oregon Coast. We suggest that you view our Mile-by-Mile Oregon Coast Tour. You'll get the highlights as you tour along the Oregon Coast; therefore, making your Oregon Coast Vacation one that you'll never forget. If you use our Oregon Coast Tour with an accompanying map, you'll get the most out of your vacation. First Time To The Oregon Coast?... If this is your first time to the Oregon Coast we highly recommend that you visit Seaside Oregon. There's lot's to do for the entire family and you can venture out and explore more areas along the coast, like Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Seaside also has a host of accommodations: motels, condo's, bed & breakfast's, private campgrounds, nearby public campgrounds, home rentals and private resorts. You shouldn't have problem finding some accommodations provided you plan a little in advance, especially for the summer months. The winter months are a little different. The Oregon Coast, including Seaside, nearly look like a ghost town. Accommodations are easy to find and there's still lot's to do. Watching a passing storm can be spectacular, especially watching the crashing waves. Beware of possible flood waters during those rainy winter months. Coastal areas are susceptible to floods. A Novice Visitor To The Oregon Coast... Whether you've been here to the Oregon Coast a thousand times, there's still much to see, learn and do. One of natures wonders is revealing the unexpected and the coast can surely do that with the natural wildlife, natural surrounding, weather changes or mans new creations. There's always something new to explore or time to simply relax. Just Get There And Enjoy... We can help you get there to begin your Oregon Coast Vacation. You can visit our Travel Network for a host of accommodations or airfares. Also, for those who desire to check out a Private Campground, you might be able to stay for free, 3-days/2-nights. We can't guarantee it but it's worth looking into. You can find out more at Oregon Campgrounds. Enjoy your visit, Craig Dahl
