Romantic Vacation...
In The Northwest

You may want to consider a spending a romantic vacation in the Northwest. There are several quaint opportunities just waiting for you. If your desire is to review the romance settings from other attractive locations on our planet, visit our "sister" site Luxury Romantic Vacations.

We'll explore what the Northwest has to offer; however, even before knowing the various options, it's imperative to know what you may consider is a vacation filled with romance. Here are some things to consider:

Know Before You Go...

  • Is the area just an over-crowed tourist resort area? Sometimes to help an economy stricken area, a town will promote itself as a tourist resort. And ultimately, that is exactly what it is, a town full of tourist with souvenir shops galore.
  • Is there a natural, awe-inspiring aspect of mother-nature luring you to a romantic vacation destination? More than often, the natural beauty sets the tone of any romanticism. Nature itself is very romantic in its own way; therefore, finding the right place whether it's a mountain backdrop, gushing waterfall or the setting sun over a mellow seascape is of critical importance.
  • Is there solitude? Those romantic times spent together as a couple while engaging in a warm glowing sun set is a remarkable memorable experience. You want the memory to be just that, not a memory of horns honking or the sounds of diesel engines sputtering down the roadside. Find the solitude that you're comfortable with. It's not necessary to venture off to a far-off remote island to enjoy solitude.
  • What appeals to you most, water, earth or fire or a combination of all or some? Water is rather obvious, an ocean, lake or stream setting. The earth is composed of mountains, grand vistas or prairies. The fire is the sun, anytime and/or rising or setting. People tend to be pulled to one sector more than the other. Look into your heart and the heart of the other person involved in the romantic relationship and decide what setting is best or perhaps a combination of some or all.

Once you've decided upon your likes, you can review the options. In the Northwest we have several options to choose from for your natural environment and you can get as solitude as you would like.
