Seattle Troll...Is Waiting For You

The Seattle Troll or commonly referred as the Fremont Troll is luring under the Aurora Bridge since the 1990 era.. The home to this Troll is under the north end of the Aurora Bridge, North 36th Street.

The Troll began his life as a public arts project sponsored by the Fremont Arts Council. Steve Badanes, Will Martin, Donna Walter and Ross Whitehead are the creators of the now famous Seattle Troll. The Troll has turned the Seattle Fremont District into a historical community.

Captured in the left had of the troll is a VW Bug. It appears as if the VW was passing by and the Troll reached out, captured it for future preservation. The VW Bug is a classic, it's a real one too! At its beginning the VW had a California license plate, a time capsule holding some memories of Elvis Presley; however, as the Troll slept vandals overtook the Troll's holding on the license plate. The Elvis material was removed and placed in safe keepings. The Troll wasn't equipped to conduct a 24-hour watch on the precious material.

The Seattle Troll, or Fremont Troll is a great photo opportunity. We've had the opportunity to lead countless tours past this fabulous landsite. It was a great beautification idea, to bring some upbeat to the underside of a bride, very creative. When viewing the sculpture, note one of the eyes is a hub cap.

The Troll has withstood the test of time. While visiting please use respect and don't harm the Troll. We'd like to leave the Troll for generations to come. And let us know about your experience to the Seattle Troll.
