Having a travel insurance policy before you embark on your exciting vacation can save you a lot of headaches afterwards, provided you get the best policy. The travel insurance business is on the rise as cancellation penalties tighten. Before spending your hard earned money, look closely at the travel insurance policy, pay particular attention to the cancellation policies. Cancellation policies may refer to you, the traveler who cancels, or the operator. Look closely and read between the lines. You'll likely pay upwards of 8% of your trip costs on travel insurance. It's not cheap; therefore, understand what you are buying. If there's any potential reason why you might cancel a trip, perhaps due to a potential health problem, make sure the policy covers that. If it's something you don't need, and it's in the policy then have it removed, and pay less, or shop for another policy. We highly recommend that you do not purchase a travel insurance policy from the operator such as a cruise line, airline, hotel, etc. Purchase the policy from an insurance company. Purchasing directly through the insurance company will likely save you money and you'll get the policy you need. Check out a Travel Insurance Policy at the Trip Insurance Store, you'll have a host of insurance companies to compare costs, and if you have questions, you can get expert advice.
Sincerely, Craig Dahl - The Travel Expert
